To
consolidate the variety information from Breeders and independent sources,
we have established in 2002 a unique trial site to evaluate varieties and
mixtures.
No other grass retailer in Scotland has this facility, the resulting trial data will enable us to formulate grass mixtures to maximize sugar yields, improve palatabiliy, therefore increasing grazing performance.. The SAC will carry out data collection and analyzation.
This facility for the future will assure our customers that all of our Grass Mixtures contain grass varieties that maximize production from every acre of grass.
Open days for viewing and discussions will be an important part of the trial programme and we look forward to seeing you then.
